Just scribble


Salam semua untuk followers blog lia...aper khabar?? sekarang jam tepat menunjukkan pukul 2 pagi, tempat: Bilik bacaan wing B, kolej baiduri, uitmpp. cuaca: Mcm dalam chiller. haha. bersama-sama ngan nana, awanis n fara...kitaorg berempat jer skang nie yang ader dalam bilik bacaan..huhu.time camnie internet mmg terbaek la..laju jer. that's why lia tiba2 dtg mood nak mengupload gmbr2 n update blog lia nie.hurmm...Alhamdullillah, akhirnyer selesai semua nyer. hari nie adalah hari last lia ader kelas untuk semester 2 nie dan minggu depan adalah minggu bermulanyer final exam...huhu.sekejap jer dh habis sem 2. cepat jer masa pun berlalu...(^_^)
okla..dibawah nia ada beberapa gmbar lia pick random..try la tengok.

Grilled chicken marinate with paprika serve with oregano spagethi & black pepper sauce. N this one group lia yang buat....hehehe..



Fish serve with garlic sauce. yang nie lak adalah dari group Bob n shark.

hehehe..time nie kat dalam kelas, perda. tengah menungu lecturer dtg, sambil tue sempat lagi nak snap2 kan..hehehehe.


time nie pulak, kat umah kak tip..kitaorg berjalan2 ke padang besar. shopping2~ so, time otw nak balik tue, singgah la jap ke umah kak tip...n kucing kat umah kak tip , yang lia tgh pegang nie..sangat2 gemok, cumil, ekor kembang...tapi dlm gmbor nie nmpak cam kecik jer..tapi sbnrnyer sgt2 gemok...pastu manja pulak tue..hehehe..



nie pulak adalah gmbr time kat padang besar...nak pegi sini cuma 2 jam jer dari penang. huhu. macam2 ada kat padang besar nie..macam2 rasenyer nak beli..fulus jer tak mencukupi time nie.. hehehe...takper2 next time nak pegi lagi la..



nie la gmbr lia telah di snap oleh rina..time nie tgh duk nerve..sbb after that ader expose french. kitaorg kene buat resepi in french then present kat monsieur. huhu.. mmg presentation lia agak macam tuttt..skit. berves punyer pasal. huhu.


n gambar kek kat bawah nie adalah kek tuk suprise party yang kitaorg buat tuk suprise kan monsieur. hehehe...mmg plan last minute punyer...n alhamdullillah, suprise party tuk monsieur menjadi.. n he's really speechless..(^_^) we love u monsieur. thanx bcoz ajar kitaorg french since kitaorang tak tau aper2 langsung , n now.. dah tau here and there about french language. thanx a lot coz being our lecturer for 2 semester whish is...about 1 year. MERCi. MERci..MErCi..Merci..

mendengar kata2 akhir dari monsiuer...sob..sob..sob..because sem 2 nie, last kitaorg belajar french tuk diploma standard.nnt akan disambung semula if wat degree.. huhu.





HAH..yang nie lak antara bff lia kt uitmpp nie, hehe..yang si awanis tu pakai macma tue kitaorg ader presentation untuk public speaking. type of role-play adalah : interview with Miss Malaysia. N miss Malaysia nyer adalah si awanis tue n lia adalah sebagai penginterview nyer.. hehehe..mmg nerves arr kan. mn tak nyer kene speaking!!! huhu...




Last but not least....inilah adalah kad raya dari kelas lia, DK2B yang kitaorg bagi pada en.amin A.K.a merangkap P.A kitaorg yang kitaorang dah anggap macam papa kitaorg sempena hari raya yang lepas.hehe. n en.amin sgt2 terharu..he really suprise, sbb kad raya tue TERsgt2 besar.n he say that..he really appreciate it. (^_^) well, sometime people needs suprise, so that it can become precious memory to remains....




i think that's all for tonight...mybe for two weeks, i need to off for a while from blogging because final exam just around the corner..wish me luck. pray 4 me. amiin.

Simple BlackForest Cake!!


Hye..hye..hye!!!

hahaha..amik ko, mlm nie tiba2 lia semangat nak update segala recipe dessert yang lia dah belajar time kat pastry class. macam2 dah lia upload. and nie pulak adalah blackforest cake!!




Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate cake mix, 2-layer size
  • 2 cups whipping cream or heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of liquid from punch fruit mix canned or any flavour that you want.
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 ounce shaved semisweet chocolate

Preparation:

1-Prepare chocolate cake following by your recipes. making 2 round 9-inch layers. Cool cake thoroughly.
2-In a small bowl, beat the cream with the confectioners' sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
3-Brush tops of the cakes with the liquid from punch fruit mix.
4-Place one cake layer on a cake plate and spread with about 3/4 cup of the whipped cream.
5-Top with half of the cherry pie filling.
6-Then top that with the second chocolate cake layer. Spread the side of the cake with half of the remaining whipped cream.
Spoon remaining pie filling on top of cake, keeping it in the center. Spoon or pipe remaining cream around the cherries.
7-Sprinkle the whipped cream around edge with shaved semisweet chocolate.

Simple Blueberry Cakes (^_^)

Salam...hye semua, ok kali nie nyer posting lak adalah mengenai kek. actually dah lama dah belajar, cuma baru nak upload dalam blog nie..hehe. ok, kek dibawah nie adalah Blueberry Cake.
simple2 sajer..tapi still sedap!! hehe..check this out!




INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Kat bawah nie adalah jenis blueberry yang telah disediakan dalam kelas kitchen kitaorg.untuk layered dalam cake tue kitaorg Just guna yang readymate terus...huhuhu.x pyh nak susah2 buat. if nak wat bluberry topping sendiri, try la search sendiri kat internet ea.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a pan with 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar. Mix together 2 3/4 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup butter and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Dredge blueberries with remaining 1/4 cup flour, then fold into batter Pour batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 70 to 80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
Voila!!

French Dessert-Crème Caramel (^_^)


Hye..kali nie pulak adalah creme caramel. dessert nie paling sedap and paling common dan selalu di serve di mana2 restoren or hotel...TERsgt simple and senang untuk disediakan. selamat mencuba!!!





Ingredients

  • Butter for greasing

  • 175g/6oz granulated sugar

  • 50ml/2fl oz water

  • 750ml/1 1/4pt milk

  • 75g/3oz caster sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence


Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C/325°F/Gas mark 3. Brush ramekins or moulds with melted butter.

  2. Place the granulated sugar and water in a pan. Stir over a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the mixture turns golden and starts to caramelize.

  3. Remove from the heat immediately and pour enough hot caramel into each ramekin to cover the base.

  4. To make the custard, heat the milk in a pan over a low heat until almost boiling. Remove from the heat.

  5. Whisk together the caster sugar, eggs and vanilla essence for 2 minutes, then stir in the warm milk. Strain the mixture into a jug and pour into the ramekins.

  6. Place the ramekins in a baking dish and pour in enough boiling water to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the custard is set. Allow to cool and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.


VOILA!!!!

Mousse Chocolate-- to all chocolate Lover!!

Hye!!! ok..yang nie lak adalah chocolate mousse. belajar time kitchen pastry jugak.. mmg sem nie paling best la kan..macam2 dessert lia belajar taw. hehe. nie semua adalah hasil tunjuk ajar dah chef lia jgk, en.amin. amacam, nampak sedap tak mousse nie?? hehe. tengok pun dah sedap kan?? apatah lagi rasanyer!!! yummy!!! nak try?? amik ler resepi yang lia ada sediakan tue...try tau..jgn tak try!!




Ingredients:

• 200 gm Bittersweet Chocolate
• 3 tbsp Granulated Sugar
• 2 cups Heavy Cream
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 4 Egg Yolks

How to make Chocolate Mousse:
Heat 2/3 cup of cream in small saucepan over low flame until it just begins to steam.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar.
Add half portion of the hot cream, whisking constantly, until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
Add the warm egg-cream blend back into the rest hot cream in the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for a few more minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and melted chocolate.
Chill the chocolate custard thoroughly.
Beat remaining 1-1/3 cups of cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
Thoroughly stir ½ cup of the whipped cream into the chilled chocolate custard, and then gently fold in the remaining cream.
Now thoroughly incorporated chocolate custard into the whipped cream and serve chilled.


Tips: Time lia belajar wat mousse nie, kitaorg letak gelatin supaya cepat set and senang nak paipkan kedalam goblet tue..so, klu rasa taknak letak gelatin pun ok jgk! terpulang la (^_^)

BaVarian PasTe (^_^)


Last week , time kelas kitchen en.amin ajar wat cold desert. so..antaranye adalah bavarian paste. chek this out!!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
Step by step:
  1. In a small bowl, stir together the gelatin and cold water. Set aside to soften. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar and salt until smooth.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Stir a small amount into the egg yolk mixture, then stir the egg yolk mixture into the hot milk until well blended. Whisk in the softened gelatin and vanilla. Run through a strainer, and allow to cool.
  3. When the mixture has cooled almost to room temperature, whip the heavy cream to medium stiffness and fold into it. Divide by 2 or more into different bowl to add the colour that you want. then, combine all the colour into one mould. depends on your creativity.Refrigerate until ready to use.

Last day kitchen Before raya....

assalamualaikum semua...

waaahhhh...dah lama tak update blog nie. huhu. mintak maaf sangat2 pada sesiapa yang reader's blog lia nie. sebab..sekarang nie TERsangat-sangat bz. nak siapkan assignment, ader test, n prepare tuk wat presentation. huhu. macam-macam ader. tapi..lia still jugak mencari kesempatan untuk nak update blog nie. hehehe. hurmm..posting lia kali nie mengenai last kitchen lia before balik cuti sempena raya yang lepas..last kelas kitchen time tue, kitaorg belajar mengenai serve ala buffet. so.....alang2~ chef kitaorg wat sekali berbuka ramai2 satu batch DCA, semua part 2. gabung kelas, kelas A dan kelas B. serve ala buffet, dak2 lelaki susun2 meja kat depan butcher,sebab area situ luas sikit... huhu..memang happening wokkk!! hehehe.. n tambah lagi dengan macam2 hidangan yang disediakan..memang mantap arr kan! hehe.. aper2 pun, allhamdullilah.. rezeki di bulan puasa la katakan...hehe.ok,la..malas nak taip byk2 tengok jer la gambo2 yang telah disediakan. ENJOy!



Nie la antara lauk-pauk yang kitaorg dak2 DCA masak tuk serve ala buffet aritue.. macam2 ada. huhu. antaranya oxtail stew, ayam percik, lamb rack, gulai ketam, burung puyuh, kerabu perut, sotong tempura, beef steak n macam2 lagi la.....huhu.



jeng2~~jeng2~~ inilah dia dak2 kelas lia, DK2B, semuanyer happening, cool, gila-gila, GS, TERBAEK punyer....hehehe. (^_^) WHATEVER IT IS....DCA FOREVER!!!! LOve u guys...

apa itu Hors d'œuvre??? apa itu sandwhich??







Hors d'œuvre literally "outside of work") or appetizers are food items served before the main courses of a meal. There are several related terms, such as a one-bite appetizer, as an amuse-bouche.

If there is an extended period between when guests arrive and when the meal is served (for example during a cocktail hour), these might also serve the purpose of sustaining guests during the wait. Hors d'oeuvre are sometimes served with no meal afterward. This is the case with many reception and cocktail party events.

Hors d'oeuvre may be served at the table, as a part of the sit-down meal, or they may be served before sitting at the table. Hors d'oeuvre prior to a meal are either stationary or passed. Stationary hors d'oeuvre are also referred to as "table hors d'oeuvre". Passed hors d'oeuvre are also referred to as "butler-style" or "butlered" hors d'oeuvre.

Though any food served prior to the main course is technically an hors d'oeuvre, the phrase is generally limited to individual items, not crudités, cheese or fruit. For example, a glazed fig topped with mascarpone and wrapped with prosciutto is considered an "hors d'oeuvre," whereas figs on a platter are not.

A more substantial starter or first course served at the table might be referred to as an entrée.

Hors d'oeuvre might include:





A sandwich is a food item made of one or more slices of bread with one or more fillings. Sandwiches are a widely popular type of food. They are typically taken to work, school or picnics to be eaten as part of a packed lunch. They generally contain a combination of salad vegetables, meat, cheese, and a variety of sauces. The bread can be used as is, or it can be coated with butter, oil, mustard or other condiments to enhance flavor and texture. They are widely sold in restaurants and cafes.

Canapé- lai..lai..lai..






A canapé (Spanish/French for couch and known in Italy as tartina) is a small, prepared and usually decorative food, held in the fingers and often eaten in one bite.

Because they are often served during cocktail hours, it is often desired that a canapé be either salty or spicy, in order to encourage guests to drink more. A canapé may also be referred to as finger food, although not all finger foods are canapés. Crackers or small slices of bread or toast or puff pastry, cut into various shapes, serve as the base for savory butters or pastes, often topped with a "canopy" of such savory foods as meat, cheese, fish, caviar, foie gras, purees or relish.

Traditionally, canapés are built on stale white bread (though other foods may be used as a base), cut in thin slices and then shaped with a cutter or knife. Shapes might include circles, rings, squares, strips or triangles. These pieces of bread are then prepared by deep frying, sautéeing, or toasting. The foods are sometimes highly processed and decoratively applied (i.e. piped) to the base with a pastry bag. Decorative garnishes are then applied. The canapés are usually served on a canapé tray and eaten from small canapé plates. The technical composition of a canapé consists of a base (i.e. the bread or pancake), a spread, a main item, and a garnish. The spread traditionally is either a compound butter or a flavored cream cheese. Common garnishes can range from finely chopped vegetables, scallions, and herbs to caviar or truffle oil.

dah baca apa itu canape? hah...dah? baguslah! klu tak faham pun wat-wat jer la faham erk!! urmmmm......actually nak wat canpes nie sangat senang. cuma kene wat mise en plus barang2 dia, then kita wat la ikut kreativiti kita! that's all!!


Bukit bendera trip-girl's day out!

salam!! hye semua...lama nyer tak update blog lia nie! hehe..sowi sgt2 pada sesiapa yang selalu baca blog lia nie.Sejak dua menjak nie lia bz sgt...sekarang nie pulak dah masuk minggu test! huhu..kene blaja rajin2 wok!! lia nak dapat kan dean list tuk semester nie!!! amiin! hehehe...

hurmmmm....actually posting lia kali nie mengenai trip lia n kawan-kawan lia. kitaorang pergi bukit bendera! hikhikhik...sajer jer jalan-jalan! tapi nie dah lama erk...last 3 weeks kot x silap lia. baru la nie nak update kat blog nie...hehehe.

kitaorg pergi hari ahad, agak2 gerak dari uitm nie dalam kul 2ptg waktu malaysia kot, if lia tak silap. hurmmmm..tunggu bas rapid punyer la lama, hampir sejam kot. then kitaorg pun pergi la ke jeti. sampai jer kat jeti naek feri..huhuhu.time naek feri la paling best sekali!! dah lama lia tak naek feri tau.....excited sangat time nieyh! huahuahuahua.....mat2 bangla yang kat feri tue pun mesti pelik tengok lia..hehehe...angin tiup sepoi2 jer, siap leh nampak anak obor2 lagi tau.

sampai jer kat dalam pulau...kitaorang pun naek bas rapid yang menuju ke bukit bendera, sampai jer kat bukit bendera agak2 dalam kul 4ptg rasanyer....jeng2!!! memang sadis la... sampai2 jer...cuma ada jual tiket pukul 6 punyer...sedih wok! eala...mybe sbb ramai kot tourist yang datang time hari ahad tue...tiket pun cepat la habisnyer.huhuhu..sedih giler kot! kitaorang pun mampu bergambor jer la kat bawah bukit bendera tue...then makan2, isi perut yang kelaparan kemudian...balik semula ke uitm. dahh habis. tammat. enjoy arr tengok gambor kat bawah ea....hikhikhik.

GOing BaCk to Uitmpp!!

hye..assalamualaikum...sowi sgt, lama giler tak update blog nie. internet kat kolej lia nie wat hal lak. huhu. baru sekarang leh online! huhu. hurmmm...aper erk, last week uitm kan cuti semester, tapi cuti semester kali nie tak best!! sbb cuti TIBA2!! dah la balik umah aritue tak bawa balik aper2 buku pun, tup2~~ cuti di tambah lagi jadi cuti semester. perghh...mmg kebosanan arr duk umah. eala baru jer cuti..pastu cuti semula. semua nie gara2 h1n1 la!! poordahhh!! huhuhu.

aper2pun skang lia dah kat uitm,penang!! this week sgt2 bz! byk giler assignment n nak kene wat revision skit nie...tup2~~ esok2 lecturer wat kuiz, habis markah carry marks lia lak nnt! huhu.this friday kene hantar assignment CITU dan assigment for BEL260. hurmmmm.... then nnt kene wat pasal food process. team lia wat pasal canned food process, kat kilang rex.dekat ngan tol juru. surat pengesahan sumer dah ader.tinggal kene jumpa supervisor diaorg nnt wat appointment bila kitaorg leh melawat kilang diaorg.huhu.excited sgt! hehehe...k,la...malas nak taip byk2. kat bawah nie ader la beberapa gmbr, enjoy!!
